Peigo wallet
I collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to create user-centric digital solutions that align with business goals and improve the customer experience. During my time at Globant, I participated in the Peigo Wallet project in Ecuador, where I contributed to both user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.

Context
MetLife is a global insurance and financial services company that offers solutions to help individuals and businesses face life's uncertainties. The application was designed to simplify the reimbursement process for users.
Objective
The objective was to simplify the reimbursement process for users, making it easy and intuitive. As the project evolved, the business team incorporated new functionalities, and the challenge was to integrate them into the application without compromising consistency, while staying aligned with MetLife's global brand guidelines.
Objective
The goal was to simplify the reimbursement process for users, making it easy and intuitive. As the project evolved, the business team introduced new features, and the challenge was to incorporate them into the app without compromising consistency, while staying aligned with MetLife’s global brand guidelines.
Solution
Together with the design team, we developed new navigation flows, always keeping the user at the centre and supporting our decisions through research. New components were incorporated into the design system and carefully documented, ensuring full alignment with MetLife's global guidelines (design.metlife.com). Each time new flows were proposed, we conducted user testing to obtain key insights into their behaviour. Thanks to these improvements, app downloads increased significantly, making it the most widely used insurance application in Chile.

Context
Peigo is a new digital wallet designed to simplify payments. Currently, in Ecuador, there are no such platforms, making Peigo a revolutionary change in the way people make payments and transactions.
Objective
The objective was to create a visually appealing and easy-to-use mobile application, helping users — many of whom are unfamiliar with digital banking tools — feel confident navigating and adopting this new way of managing payments. My work focused on designing intuitive user flows and a clean, modern interface to ensure accessibility and trust from day one.
Solution
Together with the design team, we created a visually appealing and easy-to-use application. I actively participated in the development of new navigation flows, which were subsequently presented in meetings with stakeholders. I also contributed to the creation of new components for the design system, ensuring consistency and scalability. Finally, we developed an interactive prototype to clearly demonstrate the application's functionality and improve the stakeholders' understanding of the user experience.

UX Design
UX Design
We conducted research and competitive benchmarking to identify the best possible solutions. Low-fidelity user flows were developed and shared with the team to explore and validate ideas before moving on to high-fidelity screen design.
Design System
New components were created and added to the design system, each developed with multiple variants and comprehensively documented to ensure a smooth implementation by the development team.
Prototyping
We create prototypes in Figma to test usability with real users and evaluate potential improvements based on their feedback.
UI Design
I worked on high-fidelity screens, creating new components and ensuring visual consistency across the interface.
